Miista Technique Aka Big Tech is an Indigenous hip-hop artist, speaker, and entrepreneur from Ahousaht with deep roots in East Vancouver , British Columbia. With over 15 years in the music industry, he has built a reputation for authentic storytelling, street life and powerful messages bouncing back through adversity . After surviving a life-changing car accident that claimed the life of his best friend and longtime collaborator YNS - YoungNself-made, Miista dedicated his career to carrying their shared vision forward through music. As the founder of A-Town Soldiers, he has performed alongside artists such as Lloyd Banks, Obie Trice, WC, and Merkules + many more , while also educating thousands of students across British Columbia on Indigenous history, residential schools, MMIWG2S, and cultural empowerment. Blending raw street experiences with a message of perseverance, Miista Technique continues to build a legacy through music, community leadership, and his upcoming debut album, A-Town Soldiers: The Dynasty Vol. 1.
